For Social and Environmental Welfare Berat

Summary of the project

The project aims to address the issue of energy poverty in Albania, where a significant portion of the population is unable to afford the necessary energy due to high prices. This problem particularly affects vulnerable communities and has negative consequences on citizens’ health and well-being. In addition to focusing on social support policies, there is a need to advocate for evidence-based policies and the participation of affected groups. The project aims to improve energy consumption efficiency and share knowledge with local actors, involving them in the identification and implementation of sustainable solutions. Through this intervention, the project seeks to strengthen the role of civil society, mobilize local actors, and have a positive impact on energy poverty management in the country.
