Centar za promociju civilnog društva (CPCD) invite you to join a Regional Talk within the SMART Balkans-Civil Society for a Shared Society in the Western Balkans project, on the topic: Burnout Prevention in the WB6 Civil Sector. The event aims to better understand the causes and consequences of burnout in the workplace and exchange strategies for stress prevention and management.
Given that burnout leads to emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion, we will strive to empower participants to recognize the symptoms of burnout, provide an advices on how to enhance mental health, and try to find solution on how to create a supportive work environment that fosters productivity.
Through this discussion, we aim to raise awareness of whether theory aligns with the real life and to highlight the challenges of working in the non governmental sector due to the ongoing stress caused by various factors, such as overwhelming workloads, salary instability, difficulty accessing loans, and the need for continuous investment in knowledge and skills to remain competitive.
The discussion will examine the issue from three important perspectives: management, donors, and the broader environment.
The panelists are renowned experts with many years of experience in psychology, psychotherapy, and human resources, with extensive knowledge of burnout at work topic. They are Naida Duvnjak-Šehović (Psychologist and Psychotherapist), Boris Popov (Professor in the Psychology department at the University of Novi Sad), Miloš Bulatović (Psychologist and executive director of the Psychological Association of Montenegro), Gent Shala (People Operations Consultant), Ana Kostovska (Organizational Psychologist and executive director of the Center for Systemic Development), Anisë Abazi (HR manager and facilitator of business chemistry), and Edina Malkić (director of the International Association “Interactive Open Schools”).
