Safe space for safe youth

Summary of the project implemented Association of citizens “Oštra nula”

The project aims to strengthen youth and civic activism. Through activities such as cooperation with students of the University of Banja Luka who can advocate policies for a safe space, providing a platform where young people can express themselves and organizing interactive workshops, as well as creating a volunteer network, we have mechanisms for initiating changes at the local level. In order for change to be visible for young people, it will be necessary to include young people in that process and provide them with knowledge in the domain of civic education and engagement.

Project goals

To strengthen the capacities of the youth of Banja Luka in advocacy activities and their implementation in practice
Achieving cooperation and efficiency of organizations and institutions dealing with violence against young people
To inform and encourage young people about the importance of the fight against violence and to motivate them to do the same
Involve in advocating for change

Beneficiaries:

Young people aged 16 to 25 in Banja Luka, high school students and students, different backgrounds. The intention is to include as many young people with a weaker financial situation as possible, young people from rural areas of Banja Luka as well as young people who have suffered violence in some way or belong to any in what sense to marginalized groups.
