Oštra Nula podcast

The project “Safe space for safe youth” supported by the SMART Balkan local initiatives grant line is dedicated to strengthen youth and civic activism in prevention of peer and other forms of violence.  One of its goals is to provide young people in Banja Luka with informations, support and tools to resist violence and create safe communities.

In the belief that every young person should have the right to safety and that peer violence should be suppressed through joint action, Oštra nula created a series of podcasts with the intention of raising awareness of this problem and working together to reduce violence.

In the first episode “The Psychology of Violence/Understanding Motives and Consequences“, find out:

– what is peer violence,

– how to recognize and report it,

– how to help victims and perpetrators,

– how it affects the mental health and development of children and young people,

– how to prevent and suppress it, and much more.

The presenter and editor of the podcast is student Anja Banjac, and the main guest of the first episode of the podcast is Aleksandra Arsenijević Puhalo, professor and psychologist.
