Summary of the project implemented by PRONI
Disinformation threatens social stability, undermines trust in institutions and affects young people. Our project develops interactive tools (board games and cards) that help young people recognize fake news through role-playing simulations of media actors. With the Youth Advisory Board, research, workshops in schools and CSOs, and a media campaign, we strengthen critical thinking and media literacy in BiH and the region. Join us in the fight for the truth.
Project goal(s)
General objective: To increase media literacy and develop critical thinking among young people in the Brčko District, BiH and the region through the development of educational tools on recognizing and combating disinformation and promoting active fact checking.
Specific objectives:
- To form a Youth Advisory Board (YAB) composed of 15 young people from the Brčko District of BiH, which will be key persons in the development of educational tools for improving media literacy.
- To develop an educational tool (with YAB) in the form of a board game or a set of cards, which will serve as an introduction to workshops on media literacy and recognizing disinformation.
- To organize minimum 10 educational workshops for young people using the developed tools, focusing on the importance of fact-checking and media literacy.
- To increase awareness among young people about the global problem of disinformation and its impact on society through a media campaign.
Beneficiaries
