Association of Business Women plays a leading role in organizing the dialogue and cooperation between business women in order to support and promote women entrepreneurs in North Macedonia. The Association is actively engaged in advocacy to improve the business climate and foster networking at local,
regional and international levels.
Summary of the project:
The main objective of the project is to analyze how the policies of the Green Agenda affect women entrepreneurs and to identify ways for their better participation in the implementation.
The relevance of the project is based on the existence of limited data and awareness on how women entrepreneurs are involved (or can be involved) in the Green Agenda and what are the specific challenges they face and will face in its implementation. This project will contribute to increasing awareness of the Green Agenda, and in particular how it can influence the green transition of their businesses
Project goal(s):
1. Raising awareness of the Green Agenda among women entrepreneurs
2. Preparing analysis and recommendations through public policy
3. Promoting inclusiveness and gender equality
Who will benefit from the project? (Based on target groups and expected results)
• Women entrepreneurs who will receive direct support through education and inclusion in research and policy-making processes
• Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) owned by women who will be able to implement the proposed recommendations for a green transition in their business models
