Second National Conference for B&H: SMART Balkans- Civil Society for Shared Society in the Western Balkans

SMART Balkans organizes the second National Conference for Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in the Muzej savremene umjetnosti Republike Srpske (Museum of Contemporary Art of the Republic of Srpska)  in Banja Luka. The topic of the Conference is Why does the government distribute grants to civil society organizations?

In addition to the panel and open discussion for the participants, during the Conference, open calls for grants will be presented, as an opportunity for funding new projects in the field of security and stability and governance, and contracts will be signed with the National Intervention Cooperating partners.

Civil society organizations, SMART Balkans Cooperating partners, the media and the academic community will take part in the Conference. The number of places is limited until they are filled, and you can still register by filling out the registration form, available at the link.

Regional project in the field of civil society development SMART Balkans- Civil Society for Shared Society in the Western Balkans is implemented by consortium of organizations: Centar za promociju civilnog drustva (CPCD) from Bosnia and Herzegovina as a Lead Applicant, in partnership with Center for Research and Policy Making (CRPM) from North Macedonia, and Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) from Albania, and funded by the Norway Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The project brought the regional public closer to the active and unique concept of strengthening participative democracies and Euro-Atlantic integrations through the networking and strengthening of civil society organizations and CSO networks, with the aim of creating peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia.
