An info session was held for the public calls of the SMART Balkans project for all interested applicants from Kosovo. This session was attended by 117 civil society organizations, media representatives, and engaged citizens interested in applying to the public calls for National Initiatives, Local Initiatives, Creative Box, and Media. The info session was held in the Albanian language and was provided translation into the Serbian language for the participants from the Serbian community in Kosovo.
The project staff, Kledia Lika (project manager) and Anila Salianji (project officer) from the Institute for Democracy and Mediation facilitated the info session providing an introduction of the project and presentation of four public calls that are currently open within the framework of the SMART Balkans project: National Initiative, Local Initiative, Creative Box and Media. For each call, the project staff presented the criteria and forms to be submitted for application.
Special emphasis was given to the Grant Management Platform (GMP) presentation, designed to provide its users with all the necessary information regarding grants within the SMART Balkans project. All applications for grants will be submitted through the Grant Management Platform.
In the end, all participants had the opportunity to ask their questions about these calls. The questions and answers of the information session for applicants from the six countries of the Western Balkans, together with the questions sent to the official email addresses of the SMART Balkans project will be published on February 3, 2023, on the SMART Balkans website.
