The paralegal team has undergone specialized training from experts to deepen their understanding of essential legal frameworks, including the Law on Labor Relations, the General Collective Agreement for the private sector, the Law on Protection from Mobbing, and the Law on Protection and Prevention of Discrimination. This training has equipped them with the knowledge necessary to effectively advocate for and support workers’ rights.
The primary beneficiaries of this initiative are textile workers from the towns of Shtip and Delchevo, along with the paralegals who assist them. This initiative ensures that private sector workers have a reliable means to report any violations of their rights to designated paralegals, who can subsequently relay these concerns to our Association for further action. By establishing this support network, we aim to enhance the protection of workers’ rights within the community.
