On Monday, 18/9/2023., “Giving and receiving – young active citizens for peace and prosperity” project team held a team meeting.
During the meeting, they discussed the summer SMART camp that was held in July 2023 in Prizren (KS), the results achieved and the lessons learned.
As a reminder, in the period from July 25 to August 1, 2023, a summer youth SMART camp was held in Prizren (Kosovo).
The participants of the summer youth camp were 42 young people, aged 15 to 19, from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, Albania, Serbia and North Macedonia.
The goal of the summer youth camp was to build capacity for the preparation and implementation of civic initiatives that young people will implement at the local and regional level in the period from November 2023 to April 2024, on the topic of digital literacy, i.e. the fight against fake news.
Also, they discussed the preparation of the following activities. One of them is the workshop of youth leaders, which is planned for the month of October 2023, in Podgorica (CG).
Indispensable topics of the meeting were documentation, reporting and deadlines, as well as trainings organized by the project donor for its users.
The project “Giving and receiving – young active citizens for peace and prosperity” is implemented by the International Association “Interactive Open Schools” (MIOS) Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, in cooperation with partner organizations, Organizata Kosovare për Talent dhe Arsim (TOKA), Kosovo and Forum youth and non-formal education (MNE Forum), Montenegro.
