Pro.Tok21 is excited to announce the opening of the Job Info Center in Smederevo, a pivotal resource for local youth seeking career guidance and opportunities. Officially launched on February 20, the center provides a variety of essential services aimed at helping young people define their career goals, assess their skills and interests, and gain valuable insights into potential employers in the region.
This initiative is part of the broader “Knowledge to Work – E2E” project, which has been supported for eight consecutive years. The project has fostered a network of partner organizations across Serbia, with the Smederevo center joining recently alongside others in Kraljevo. Pro.Tok21 plays a vital role as the local partner, actively engaging with young people and promoting sustainable development, focusing on ecological, social, and economic aspects.
The Job Info Center was well-received during its opening, with representatives from various associations, civil society organizations, schools, and the private sector visiting to learn more about its services. Nataša Rašković, a team member, highlighted the significance of the center, stating, “In addition to ecological and social sustainability, economic sustainability is also crucial for our city and region. We hope that the Center will unite us in improving the labor market in Smederevo.”
Looking ahead, the center will play an instrumental role in empowering youth, especially in light of the recent formation of a Youth Club. Members are optimistic about the changes they envision for their city, and the Job Info Center will support these aspirations by providing ongoing career development resources.
