In an inspiring effort to enhance intercultural understanding, two workshops recently took place in Bujanovac, uniting educators, cultural workers, and students from various ethnic backgrounds. The first workshop successfully trained twenty-five participants on how to effectively use social games to promote intercultural values. Equipped with new strategies and tools, these individuals are now self-confident to make a meaningful impact in their communities.
The second workshop introduced the “Intercool Games,” a social game crafted by fifty eager students from local primary and secondary schools. Participants engaged in developing and testing the game, designed to encourage dialogue and collaboration among Roma, Albanian, and Serbian youth.
These workshops have sparked significant interest in Bujanovac, culminating in a planned promotional campaign that aims to reach at least five hundred residents. The campaign will advocate for the creation of shared spaces where young people from all ethnicities can gather and connect, fostering a more inclusive community. Through these initiatives, participants have not only gained essential skills but have also laid the groundwork for a brighter, united future in Bujanovac.
