Summary of organization’s strategic orientation

The center advocates for the promotion of European values and the strengthening of transatlantic cooperation, as well as the promotion of public policy recommendations based on strategic analyses.

Summary of the project:

The need for urgent intervention due to the announcement that the USA will impose sanctions on the company NIS, which is owned by the Russian Gazprom Neft. Such an announcement once again actualizes the very important issue of the region’s energy security. Due to a topic that carries strong geopolitical charges, (dis)information and space for information manipulation, accompanied by the absence of a precise overview of the process of energy diversification in the region and understanding of that process in Europe. The Center for Strategic Analysis tries to address the topic of energy diversification of the Western Balkans and Serbia through the project.

Project goal(s):

  • raising awareness through public advocacy of the Euro-Atlantic partnership in the field of energy security and regional cooperation
  • informing the target group about the process of energy diversification
  • informing the target group about the state of energy security
  • preventing the spread of disinformation related to the energy security of the region and Serbia
  • opening a social debate on energy security
  • influence on the target group in terms of its involvement in the topics of energy security and diversification
  • creation of a reliable source of knowledge on the topic of energy security, energy diversification (Study)
