Pro.Tok21 is proud to highlight its recent success with the Activist Caravans project in the Podunavlje and Braničevo districts. This initiative aimed to strengthen civil society in the region by engaging local communities and addressing key issues.
The Activist Caravans provided an interactive platform for residents to discuss their challenges. Using the “wheel of fortune” game, participants identified specific concerns and proposed solutions through the “point of happiness” approach. This innovative format facilitated meaningful dialogue and encouraged citizens to learn more about local initiatives and the role of civil society.
Throughout the project, ten caravans were held, involving over a hundred volunteers and activists. Participants emphasized the significance of these events, noting that many individuals were unaware of the benefits provided by civil society initiatives. This engagement fostered a sense of ownership, motivating more residents to become active in their communities.
Feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive. Many expressed satisfaction with the training and information provided by mentors, highlighting the value of the knowledge gained.
As Pro.Tok21 moves forward, the insights and connections made during these caravans will be instrumental in supporting local initiatives and enhancing community engagement in the Braničevo-Podunavlje region. Together, they are paving the way for a more informed citizenry committed to driving positive change.
