SHKEJ is working to overcome challenges in rural areas of Tirana, such as poverty, isolation, lack of information, gender inequality, and inadequate services for children in need of protection.
Recently, 29 child protection professionals and community representatives took part in workshops in the Zall-Herr and Baldushk administrative units. These sessions aimed to boost their skills in identifying and managing cases involving vulnerable children. By focusing on improving the capabilities of social workers and service providers, the workshops sought to enhance the overall support system for children requiring protection and welfare services in these rural areas.
