The Group for Legal and Political Studies (GLPS) remains a leading voice in Kosovo, producing high-quality research and influencing public policy across areas such as rule of law, good governance, public administration reform, regional cooperation, foreign policy, and EU integration.
GLPS achieves this impact through rigorous research, advocacy, and active stakeholder engagement. The organization publishes policy papers tackling key challenges, collaborates with institutions, civil society, media, and communities, and proposes innovative solutions to support informed reforms. Its public debates simulate policy discussions, providing a platform for governmental and non-governmental stakeholders to explore practical solutions in critical reform areas.
GLPS’ record of outputs is impressive: 14 research papers, 15 high-level events, contributions to 10+ working groups drafting legislation and strategic documents, over 10 videos and podcasts, and 15+ opinion pieces in leading media outlets. The organization maintains strong media visibility, with over 900 appearances, addressing governance, transparency, accountability, EU integration, and public administration reform.
Support from SMART Balkans has been essential in ensuring GLPS’ sustainability and strengthening its capacity to research, advocate, and influence policy. Through its work, GLPS continues to empower citizens and institutions, advancing a more transparent, accountable, and democratic Kosovo.
