Several families from the Roma and Egyptian communities have successfully completed the legalization process and received their property certificates. However, many families are still awaiting the review of their applications. This ongoing delay continues despite repeated requests and significant interest directed towards the State Cadastre Agency (ASHK) in Elbasan.
In response to the situation, the Local Roma and Egyptian Rights (LRER) organization recently held a meeting with a group of these families. The purpose of this meeting was to mobilize the affected families and enhance their advocacy skills in order to escalate the issue, as the State Cadaster Agency has not adhered to the legal deadlines for completing the legalization process.
