MuralFest Kosova in collaboration with SMART Balkans – Civil Society for Shared Values in the Western Balkans is announcing a competition for creating an artistic sketch and painting a mural.
The competition for mural ideas (sketches) is open to all artists from Kosovo aged 18 and above. Participants are invited to present their ideas in formats suitable for large-scale execution, specifically in the form of a mural. Artists may submit up to three (3) original sketches, either individual or group concepts, based on the theme specified on the second page of the competition.
Each application must include a separate document of up to 500 words elaborating on the textual concept of the artistic sketch. The sketch should be inspired by public writings from citizens on boards (see the posted photo) and may include textual elements or painted images intended to be reflected in the mural.
The proposed sketch should be marked with the author’s name, surname, and address. It must be submitted electronically, scanned or photographed with sufficient quality for review, and sent to the email address [email protected] with the subject line: “How You See Your City – [Author’s Name and Surname]”.
