Anibar strives to help develop the medium of animation in Kosovo and facilitate the production of animated shorts by the talented community. A Pitching Competition funded by SMART Balkans is being announced for professionals and young artists who wish to develop their ideas into animated projects! This exciting event offers a platform for animators to present their projects, captivate audiences, and engage with potential collaborators and investors. The Competition will take place during the 14th edition of the Anibar Animation Festival in Peja.
Who can apply?
Submissions are welcomed from both established professionals and emerging talents, embracing diversity in style, genre, and storytelling from Kosovo.

Read the document thoroughly and submit the application with all specified information and supporting documents by July 14th, 2023.
After submission, information about the pre-selection phase will be provided if the submission files meet all requirements outlined in the document.
Pre-workshop – Selected applicants will attend a 5-day workshop (July 17th – 21st) during the Anibar International Animation Festival in Peja. The workshop will include preparation for presentations and lectures on pitching. PRESENTATION! – On July 22nd, project presentations will be evaluated by a jury consisting of three members from the region and Kosovo. The top three projects will be awarded at the festival’s closing ceremony on July 23rd.
