Albania’s integration into the European Union (EU) remains a strategic priority for the country, supported not only by all political forces but also by society as a whole.
The EU accession process is both political and technical. Consequently, it will require the involvement of all interest groups and society to implement reforms necessary to meet EU standards on this long and challenging journey. In this context, the Albanian Parliament plays an essential and significant role through its legislative function, aligning legislation with the EU acquis (chapters), overseeing the progress of reforms, and coordinating efforts.
