Peace and Resilience Football Program
Sport and Education have the power to connect people, from individuals to communities, create opportunities for young people, and build stronger communities. IANS is dedicating this important program to young people that were either in conflict with law, victims of crime or first-time offenders (in need for reintegration opportunity).
A team of public figures and well-known football players will dedicate their presence to the “Peace and Resilience” within “Strengthening youth resilience to violence and crime” project.
Conceptualized as an “after school program”, this creative activity will combine interactive sessions covering sports, leadership skills, bullying, online safety and social media to promote physical and mental well-being, personal growth, and a safe online environment through well skilled coaches and youth experts. These activities will be organized through 90-minutes training and theoretical sessions, by 4 coaches for 100 young boys and girls from difficult contexts and communities.
