NGO ACDC organized a key meeting with representatives of the municipality of North Mitrovica. The meeting aimed to address the pressing issue of flood prevention in the region and present a project initiated by ACDC, with the concept of developing a local action plan for flood prevention. The core of the meeting was around a comprehensive discussion on flood prevention. Participants, including representatives of local authorities, shared their insights, experiences and concerns regarding the challenges related to flooding in North Mitrovica.
ACDC presented its project that focuses on solving the problem of flood prevention in the region. The organization highlighted the key components of the project and its importance to the local community. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the concept of creating a local action plan for flood prevention. ACDC proposed the idea of collaborating with experts to develop a well-informed plan adapted to the specific needs of North Mitrovica. At the meeting, the importance of solving flood prevention as the main priority in the municipality of Severna Mitrovica was emphasized. The concept of a local action plan received positive responses, indicating a collective commitment to increase flood resilience. Representatives of the local self-government acknowledged the urgency of taking measures to prevent floods. It was agreed that further discussions and collaborations would be needed to turn the proposed action plan into reality.

The non-governmental organization ACDC attended the meeting with the participation of representatives of the municipality of North Mitrovica. The primary focus of this meeting was to address the pressing issue of flood prevention in the region and present vital data and information gathered during ACDC’s project activities. More open discussion on flood prevention. Representatives of the local self-government presented their insights and concerns about the current situation with floods in North Mitrovica.

The meeting ended with a question-and-answer session and further discussion.
