Project Title: Raising Awareness and Providing Assistance for Addressing Mental Health Issues in the Bathore Area

Project Location: Bathore (Tirana)
Project Objectives:
– To raise awareness among women and girls who are victims or survivors of violence, young mothers, women and girls with a history of mental health issues, and mothers from the Roma/Egyptian community, about the importance of mental health care and identifying alternatives to cope with stress and suffering.
– To organize focus group meetings/sessions to reduce stigma and fear associated with seeking psychological help, while promoting an open and supportive culture for mental health.
– To identify cases requiring emergency intervention and provide individual assistance.
Expected Project Results:
- Awareness Raising:
– Increased understanding of mental health issues and available support services.
- Reduction of Stigma and Fear of Seeking Help:
– Decreased stigma and fear related to discussing mental health and seeking psychological assistance.
- Provision of Individual Assistance:
– Direct support offered to individuals needing emergency intervention.
- Community Sensitization:
– Enhanced community awareness and support for mental health issues.
