CED Florozon is proud to announce the successful implementation of its Environmental Anti-Corruption Workshop, a key activity within its project addressing the urgent needs identified by civil society organizations (CSOs) and relevant stakeholders. This workshop aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of environmental corruption and equip them with the necessary tools to address this critical issue.
The event brought together over 40 participants from diverse sectors, including state institutions, public prosecutors, the judiciary, media, and academia. This collaborative environment fostered rich discussions and the exchange of valuable knowledge and strategies essential for effectively combating corruption. With significant media coverage, the workshop reached over 100,000 citizens, significantly raising awareness of environmental corruption issues.
Key insights from the workshop were echoed by the project team. Project Manager Kiril Ristovski highlighted the importance of collaborative learning, stating, “The workshop provided a critical platform for stakeholders to share perspectives on environmental corruption.” Expert Prof. Marina Malish Sazdovska emphasized the workshop’s value, noting, “The training established a solid foundation for detecting and addressing corruption, benefiting from the active participation of attendees.”
Through this successful activity, CED Florozon has not only delivered a vital educational experience but also inspired participants to take proactive measures within their communities, fostering ongoing collaboration in the fight against environmental corruption.
