Civic Action: Together Against Anti-Democratic Threats

Summary of the project implemented by CDT 

The project addresses the growing anti-democratic tendencies in Montenegro that could jeopardize civil liberties and the country’s European integration. Through legal analysis, legislative process monitoring, and awareness campaigns, the project strengthens society’s resilience to political pressures and disinformation. By actively engaging citizens, civil society, and the media, it creates space for transparent dialogue and timely responses to threats to democracy.

Strengthening democratic values and Montenegro’s European integration by monitoring and countering anti-democratic initiatives, empowering citizens through information and combating disinformation, and fostering constructive dialogue between civil society, the media, and decision-makers.
