Anti-Corruption Reporting Mechanism

CED Florozon proudly announces the successful development and launch of an innovative online application for reporting environmental corruption. This essential tool addresses the urgent need for improved transparency, accountability, and public engagement in environmental management. The application, available in Macedonian, Albanian, and English, was created in response to requests from civil society organizations (CSOs) and citizens, who identified a significant gap in existing reporting mechanisms targeting environmental issues.

The application serves a wide range of stakeholders, including state institutions, public prosecutors, the judiciary, CSOs, media, academia, and citizens. It facilitates the reporting process, making it easier for individuals to report environmental non-compliance. The project involved collaboration with experts in the field, ensuring a high-quality tool that effectively meets user needs.

Since its launch, the mechanism has been actively utilized, with a promotional campaign reaching approximately 120,000 individuals and generating over 230,000 impressions on social media. Project Manager Kiril Ristovski stated, “We believe that the mechanism will serve as a pilot tool to navigate citizen engagement in the fight against environmental corruption.” Expert Frosina Antonovska emphasized, “This online tool can encourage a higher reporting rate and provide a mechanism for tracking the success of submitted cases.”

CED Florozon is committed to ensuring that this reporting mechanism remains available long after the project’s conclusion. For more information and to access the application, please visit their website.
