Еvaluation of the National Strategy for Drugs 2021-2025 and the Action Plan for Drugs 2021-2023 of the Republic of North Macedonia

One of the key objectives of the project was to enhance the national drug policy of the Republic of North Macedonia. To achieve this, an evaluation of the implementation of the Action Plan for Drugs 2021-2023 was essential.
The direct beneficiaries of this initiative include the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, various ministries, institutions, and civil society organizations involved in drug-related work. Indirect beneficiaries are people who use drugs, young people, and society at large.
Key partners in delivering this outcome were the Ministry of Health, the National Drug Coordinator, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as other ministries and institutions relevant to addressing drug use.
The evaluation of the National Action Plan for Drugs 2021-2023 of the Republic of North Macedonia serves as a crucial foundation for shaping the upcoming Action Plan for Drugs 2024-2025 and the new National Strategy for Drugs. Insights and findings from this evaluation will directly inform the development of the next National Drug Policy, ensuring a more effective and targeted approach to addressing drug-related issues in the country.
