Student Council capacity-building training
Through capacity-building training for representatives of student councils from all 300 high schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina, mreSVUBIH will initiate education for young people on issues of nonviolent communication, intercultural dialogue, and reconciliation.
The training process will consist of several parts, including lectures, workshops, debates, and youth projects. Topics addressed will include conflict situations that arise in their lives, such as misunderstandings with peers, family conflicts, as well as broader societal conflicts.
The seminars will be interactive and tailored to young people and high school students, aiming to encourage them to express their opinions and exchange ideas. Trainers will be facilitators supervised by experts in youth work who will present best practices and examples from various parts of the world.
Significant emphasis will also be placed on the practical application of reconciliation techniques, such as communication, listening, and empathy. They will also be encouraged to work in groups on projects related to reconciliation, with the aim of applying their knowledge and skills in practice.
