MIOS Final Project Conference

The final conference of the project ” Giving and receiving – young active citizens for peace and prosperity,” will take place on December 13, 2024, at 09:45 at the Hotel Grand in Tuzla.

Over the past two years, this regional project has been dedicated to enhancing the youth capacities for active citizens, participation in the decision making processes as citizens and working toward the good governance in topics that concern youth and their development. With a focus on the Service-Learning pedagogy as an impactful approach toward building and strengthening youth’s capacities and confidence to influence and ensure social change within the communities, the project generated great motivation, openness of institutions, civil society sector and youth toward the importance of synergetic work to ensure needed ecosystem for youth to flourish.

This conference will present the achievements made possible by the SMART Balkans and Kingdom of Norway support.

The conference offers a unique opportunity to continue the regional dialogue on topic of youth empowerment through Service-Learning pedagogy and sharing best practices, successful results in citizen mobilization, advocacy and partnership building with state and non-state actors.
