Meet-up event “Climate reporting storytelling and best practices”
The event aims to bring together journalists, editors, representatives from CSOs, and public
authorities.
During the event, participants will have the opportunity to provide examples of effective climate reporting and discuss key principles of responsible journalism, including accuracy, fairness, and transparency. Moreover, attendees will have the chance to learn from experienced reporter representing various media platforms, who will share their insights and best practices in reporting on climate emergencies, providing practical knowledge and strategies for effective storytelling. From a representative from the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning of N.Macedonia, they will find out where to find useful information and data that will help them in the preparation of their stories.
The event is an activity within the SMART Balkans regional project “Reinforcing the role of media in addressing the climate emergency”.
