CALL FOR HIGH SCHOOL PROJECTS – APPLY YOUR CLASSROOM KNOWLEDGE FOR A PROJECT IN YOUR CITY!
What do you need to do?
- Form a team of 5 high school students
- Include one teacher
- Identify a need or challenge in your community
- Develop a solution that utilizes the knowledge and skills acquired in school
- Apply via the following link https://tinyurl.com/mvxcadt6 no later than September 22, 2024, by 23:59. Receive 12,000 MKD to implement your initiative!

WHAT IS SERVICE LEARNING?
Service Learning is an educational approach where students connect the theory and knowledge acquired in the classroom through specific activities and projects aimed at making a societal impact. In essence, it involves using what you learn in school to create a project that positively contributes to your community.
WHAT KIND OF PROJECTS CAN BE IMPLEMENTED?
The projects you apply with should be aimed at addressing a specific challenge in your local community, focusing on the following areas:
- Urbanization
- Environment
- Marginalized People
- People with Disabilities
- Volunteering
- Poverty
- Assisting Other Vulnerable Categories of Citizens
Each project should demonstrate that it is based on the use of knowledge and skills acquired in school subjects.

For all interested teams, we will organize an informative session, which will be held on September 12 at 12:00 PM online on the ZOOM platform. To participate in the session, you need to register no later than September 11 via the following LINK.
This activity is implemented as part of the “LEADing Forward: Strengthening Capacities for Sustainable Development” project. The project is supported by an operational grant from the regional project SMART Balkans – Civil Society for a Connected Western Balkans, implemented by the Center for Civil Society Promotion (CPCD) from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Center for Research and Policy Making (CRPM) from North Macedonia, and the Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) from Albania, and financially supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway.
