Capacity building training for Parliamentary Disability Lobbying Groups (PDLGs) in Kosovo
As a part of capacity building trainings series for PDLGs in the framework of the “Disability Alliances for Development of Inclusive Reforms in the Region (DADIRR)” regional project, Albanian Disability Rights Foundation organizes training in Kosovo.
The main goal of the training is to enable participants, members of the national parliaments, to acquire first-hand knowledge on important disability issues and field information from the project beneficiaries themselves. APWDs and other local CSO representatives are invited to participate at trainings and policy advocacy public debates and provide their inputs and express their opinion on the degree of implementation of the countries’ legal policies, their main areas of concern with current financing practices, their suggestions on how the situation could be improved and any other recommendations they might have for successful completion of the legislative policy advocacy.
